The Happier Team

This note comes from our team of teachers, writers, producers, designers, and coders, who all care deeply about our mission. Every day we’re replying to your emails, listening to your feedback, and working to create something that truly makes you Happier.

We've been using your feedback to guide our evolution, leading us toward a more personalized, flexible, and connective experience that introduces our amazing teachers (including Joseph Goldstein!) in new ways.

Today, as part of that evolution, Ten Percent Happier is changing our name to simply Happier. Over the next few months, we'll be rolling out additional changes, and we wanted to share what's coming.

What’s Not Changing:

  • Our Core Mission: Our commitment to making meditation accessible, relatable, and practical remains unchanged.
  • Content You Know and Love: The content you value will still be available in the app.
  • The 10% Happier Podcast: Dan Harris will continue to host the podcast, which will stay available on its current feeds. Outside the podcast, Dan is transitioning away from his broader role within the app and launching other exciting new ventures. We're deeply grateful for his contributions and the lasting impact he's had on building our community.

What You Can Expect:

  • New Content: We've heard you loud and clear, and we're delivering! Look forward to a new course and fresh ways to integrate mindfulness into your life, guided by our incredible teachers.
  • Personalized Experience: We're focusing on creating a more tailored experience that fits seamlessly into your daily routine.
  • New Features: Expect new ways to meditate, including vertical videos and monthly check-ins to keep you engaged and supported.

As we roll out new content and features, we hope they bring even more value to your practice and make your mindfulness journey even more enriching. Thank you for being a part of our community.
