The pandemic, the resulting economic crisis, and the national unrest surrounding police brutality targeting black people have made 2020 emotionally and physically exhausting for a lot of Americans. All of these issues are greatly affecting the mental health of American communities of color, who already face steeper challenges in accessing mental health care. The Loveland Foundation is helping to close the gap by funding high-quality, culturally competent therapy sessions for communities of color with a particular focus on black women and girls. When we invest in the mental health of black women and girls it not only causes a shift in their lives, but it overflows into their homes, families, and communities for generations to come. As you may know, we started Ten Percent Happier LIVE as an experiment around the beginning of the pandemic in the United States to see if we could help people out at a tough time. Here in the U.S., we are beginning to cautiously re-open and venture out into the world and as a consequence, we're winding down this particular iteration of Ten Percent Happier LIVE.

This Friday, June 5th will be our last episode of Ten Percent Happier LIVE in its current form. We're all aware that many of you have come to rely on the show, so we're rolling out resources to continue to help you.

  • We're offering three months of free access to the Ten Percent Happier app for new users to make sure LIVE viewers can access meditation support after this Friday. You can create an account and redeem your free access here.
  • We post two new podcast episodes each week, and if you don’t already listen, you can check them out here.
  • We'll also be launching a free meditation challenge in the near future and are working on a new live product for the app in the longer term. We'll let you know as soon as those efforts launch.

Every weekday, we'll offer a free live sanity break, featuring our host, Dan Harris, and some of the world's best meditation teachers, streaming from their homes to yours. We'll start with a five-minute meditation, and then take questions from the audience.

We’ll be streaming live on YouTube at 3PM ET every weekday. If you miss us live, you can catch past episodes below or on the Ten Percent Happier app (in the “Courses” tab).
